Happy Easter! I Hope it brings you lots of fun, love, and joy. Even during these difficult times, there is plenty that we can be grateful for. Check out this cute and easy sock bunny craft compliments of a pumpkin and a princess blog!
To make sock bunnies you will need:
a child’s sock, felt (or scrap fabric), large pom pom, moveable eyes (or a marker), ribbon, clear rubber bands and rice
Step 1
Fill your sock boy with some rice. Tie the rubber bands to create a body, make sure the band is tight, next fill the space with some rice for the head and wrap rubber band around the top of the head.
Step 2
Cut a piece of felt (or fabric) to create a “belly” for the bunny, glue onto sock using tacky glue or hot glue
Step 3
Glue eyes (or draw), teeth (a tiny square piece of felt or fabric cut down the middle that resembles teeth), pom pom on the back, and a nose (small rounded triangle piece of felt). Finally, Tie a bow around the bunny.
Step 4
Cut the top of the sock in half to create ears on the sock bunny. Snip off the corners to make the ears slightly rounded.
Step 5
Go eat some chocolate.
